After extensive research and multiple prototypes, YEDC has developed the first ring that rotates in both directions. The bidirectional ring features a magnetic structure, with the primary challenge being to maintain a thin profile. Remarkably, its thickness matches that of previous unidirectional ratchet rings, making it indistinguishable to the naked eye. This is the world’s first EDC ring that functions as jewelry while rotating bidirectionally.

Named “ZhuanYun,” meaning “Rotating Cloud,” this ring is made from zirconium alloy. To enhance durability, an orange peel polishing technique was used, ensuring both brightness and resistance to wear and slips. The design features a cloud pattern inspired by Cave 52 of the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, symbolizing luck—every rotation is a blessing.

Differences Between the Bidirectional Magnet Pig Ring and the Unidirectional Ratchet Pig Ring:

– Number of Paragraphs: The bidirectional ring has fewer paragraphs (16-22, depending on size), resulting in a more jumpy and bouncy feel. The unidirectional ring has more paragraphs (40-50), offering a delicate and dense sensation.
– Sound: The bidirectional ring produces a louder sound, while the unidirectional ring is quieter.
