YEDC Ceramic Product Series
In early 2024, YEDC began developing technology to produce EDC toys using artificial ceramics, specifically Zirconia. Known for its exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and drop resistance, Zirconia is commonly used in high-end mobile phone cases, watch cases, and medical equipment.

Producing EDC toys from artificial ceramics presents significant technical challenges, requiring mold making, sintering, polishing, and CNC processes. These steps are far more complex than those for metal EDC, and the low precision of ceramic molds results in a poor yield rate. Currently, no other brand has attempted to tackle these difficulties, making YEDC a pioneer in this field.

Over a year of effort and significant financial investment have gone into this project, but due to low yields and lengthy production cycles, the venture remains unprofitable. Despite this, YEDC successfully produced three types of ceramic EDC toys. However, the company has decided to cease further production as the costs are unsustainable.

These three ceramic EDC toys are likely to be the final creations in this field, representing a unique and innovative chapter in EDC history.
