The Sunda is exactly the kind of knife you’d expect from Rod Olson… perfection. While we realize that it may not be for everyone – it being a button lock knife – but that shouldn’t deter you in any way. This knife is built to last and does not have a single seam out of place, which is pretty typical for Rod. His fit and finish are second to none and this Sunda is a perfect example of that. It features a 2.75″ Damasteel steel Wharncliffe blade and backspacer with a full titanium frame. Nice mokuti inlaid into the frame – not easy to do but the results speak for themselves. It gives the knife a robust feeling that it can handle some tough cutting tasks and a half-stop safety prevents the blade from closing on your fingers during use.
