After nearly two years of development, the final piece of the Cyborg Soul Series is complete. The arrival of Python marks the full realization of “Utopia.”
The design of this series began two years ago, with individual components released gradually over time. The development process presented significant challenges. The original goal was to combine multiple EDC items into a 1:1 scale sci-fi prop, but achieving this while ensuring that each core product maintained its own distinct style, innovative interaction, structural integrity, and seamless compatibility proved to be extremely demanding. Two years later, Utopia is finally complete, bringing the entire vision together.
Python is assembled from five major components and six smaller parts. It is made from titanium alloy and is available in two finishes: natural titanium and titanium black. Users may assemble Utopia using matching colors or mix finishes according to personal preference.
The final design features a single-shot cover structure inspired by a grenade launcher. When a compression spring is installed, pulling the Cyborg Soul backward causes Python to automatically eject and open upward. Without the compression spring, it can be chambered with one hand. Inside the opened upper cover is a pressable brass decorative cartridge case.
Python includes a nylon loop grip and can be played with independently even without full assembly. The base includes a magnetic function for storing screwdriver bits. A 6 mm threaded hole is located at the front, allowing accessories such as a window breaker to be installed.
When the five EDC components—Cyborg Soul, Fang Kit, Iron Curtain, Dragon Ridge, and Python—are fully assembled, they form Utopia, a large-scale sci-fi hand cannon with a true 1:1 scale. It is not recommended for carrying outside and is intended for display, fidgeting, and collection at home only.
