Material Excellence

• Blade: The blade is forged from Chad Nichols Damascus, renowned for its high-contrast patterns and exceptional structural integrity. This is a dramatic upgrade over the standard S35VN or 20CV steels found on production models.

• Inlays: The titanium frame is set with Marble Carbon Fiber inlays, which provide a non-linear, chaotic “shred” aesthetic that shifts in depth when viewed from different angles.

• Hardware: The ZircuTi pocket clip and backspacer act as the visual anchor. ZircuTi (a layered laminate of Zirconium and Titanium) is heat-anodized to produce vibrant, iridescent colors that will never fade or wear like standard anodization.

The Hoback Engineering

• HRD (Hoback Roller Detent): This custom features Jake’s signature adjustable roller detent. Instead of a static ball sliding across the blade, a rolling ball reduces friction, creating a smoother action and allowing the user to fine-tune the “flip” to their preference.
